Text to Speech

iSpeech is the best Text to Speech online utility that I have used so far.  It allows you to convert text into natural human voices from a list of voices online and download them to your computer. They also have the facility of converting your uploaded documents into voices. The downside of this online utility is that the free account only allows you to convert voices up to 1 minute only. A paid account offers unlimited time.

Usage:
- First select the text you want it to read.
- Then click the icon to start listening.
- When it is ready to read, the number of sentences is shown on the icon.
- To stop listening at any time click pause

An embed code for the player will be given to you to paste on you blogs/sites. This is all done in just a few seconds.

iSpeech is a very interesting service. It will allow educators to reach out to students and parents in a different form via blogs or sites. Text and audio can be available side by side. It will give users more options on how they will take in the content.

Bonus feature:
Most browsers also they have an extension by which you can select a particular text and read it aloud. Chrome users can download "Speekit" extension Here.
