MobyMax ~ Completely Integrated K-8 Math & ELA Curriculum

MobyMax, formerly MobyMath, is a web-based computer program that provides students with targeted, differentiated instruction that is aligned to the Common Core State Standards.

To get started, students complete a pre-assessment and are then leveled according to their individual needs. Through the pre-assessment, MobyMax determines the gaps or holes in the student's learning and provides lessons and independent practice surrounding that specific skill.

Currently, MobyMax offers the following programs:

  • Reading
  • Language
  • Math
  • Math Facts
  • Vocabulary
  • Writing

Getting started with MobyMax is FREE.... yes, FREE! With a free account, you have access to the program and student accounts. The free account is a great way to see if what MobyMax offers is a good fit for you and your students. The Pro account provides extra features and data analysis reports for student progress.

MobyMax provides the ability to assign lessons. For instance, if your class is currently working on addition and subtraction within 1000 (3.NBT.2) you can go into MobyMax and assign specific lessons based on those standards... it's just ONE more exposure to the material.

How can you use MobyMax in my classroom?

  • Morning Work
  • Center Time
  • Math Supplementation
  • Homework*

*In addition to using MobyMax in the classroom, it may be used as homework practice.  For students that don't have access to the internet at home - you can print off worksheets from within the program that align with their program and are still "MobyMax" assignments.... no one is singled out and no one misses out!

Have you used MobyMax in your classroom?
